The Shop
The shop carries a wide range of groceries, vegetables, frozen foods, general household goods, confectionery, greetings cards, newspapers and magazines (a total of now 5000 lines) and prices are competitive with those in Penrith (9 miles distant at a cost of £8.25 in a car). Local produce is stocked where possible Goods may be ordered for collection regularly, or in advance for visits, by contacting the shop. Credit cards are accepted and cashback facilties available. Mobile phone accounts may be topped up.
A feature of the shop is the Melmerby wine boutique, which sells a variety of wines, beers and spirits
